“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5-6, NIV)
One of the best word pictures I have heard for the English phrase acknowledge Him is “to caravan.” We need to hitch our wagon to God’s and let Him lead us on the straight path.
